  To determine the weight of the cargo loaded or discharged to/from the vessel, draft survey is the method in the absence of shore scale. This involves extensive reading of drafts, checking the deductibles and densities, applying all necessary corrections and calculations.

Holds must be suitably clean to load certain cargo. With EBY, we inspect cargo holds for cleanliness and making sure it is acceptable for the stowage of your cargo.

On behalf of charterers or the owners, we perform on/off hire bunker surveys to determine the bunkers on board at the time of survey then applied the consumptions and the bunkers supplied to determine the bunkers at the time of delivery or redelivery.

We inspect the present physical condition of the vessel's hold compartments, hatch covers, weather deck and gears before the delivery to charterers or redelivery from charterers.

Water ingress to vessel's cargo holds is one of the common causes of damage to the cargo. EBY provides an inspection using ultrasonic leak detection instrument, a fast and effective method to test hatch covers watertightness.

EBY performs hose testing, another known method in testing watertightness of vessel's hatch covers.

We attend and supervise loading and discharging operations of your cargo. We will be your eyes and ears in the field and keeps you updated daily all throughout the operations.
